The project
Four-piece cover for a 47-foot Freeman
This custom boat cover was patterned for the layout and attachment points of this 47-foot Freeman.
The two-piece design combines a nylon-cord cinch at the rub rail with track beneath the hardtop to support and tension the upper edges. Black zippers connect the sections, while the rear portion can open fully without removing the others.
Two matching WeatherMAX 80 Light Charcoal storage bags are included in the project specification.

Nylon cord cinches the cover at the rub rail for proper tension.
Independent access
The rear opens completely while the other sections remain fitted.

Hardtop track and rub-rail tension
Track beneath the hardtop provides upper support for the four cover sections. At the rub rail, nylon cord draws the lower edge into tension.
These two attachment points define the cover’s fit around this vessel. The pattern is specific to this boat and is not a universal cover for every 47’ Freeman.

Access without a full removal

The rear portion is designed to open completely so the boat can be accessed without removing the remaining cover sections.
All zippers are black, and the material is sewn with black PTFE thread.

WeatherMAX 80 fabric and construction details
WeatherMAX 80 in Light Charcoal is specified for both the cover and its two storage bags. Black thread and black zippers complete the construction details.
On-screen fabric colors are approximate. Confirm physical samples and the final specification when planning a new cover.
