A carpet mat sits on a flat area and can carry embroidered lettering or artwork. A boarding step pad drapes over the gunwale where people step aboard. Choose by placement first, then select the size and design for that product.
Can I add my boat name or logo?
Yes. Share your boat name or artwork with the custom mat request. For the separately sold Step Pad, choose an embroidered version and complete the Step Pad Form after ordering. Check spelling and capitalization before submitting.
What size custom mat should I request?
Measure the clear width and length at the intended location and include the units. A photo helps show door openings, steps and fittings. The form includes several formats, and our team can confirm the size and shape for your request.
Can I choose carpet, edging and thread colors?
The custom mat form includes carpet, binding and embroidery color choices. Add a photo or color reference if you want to coordinate with existing upholstery or canvas. Confirm the selections for the finished mat with our team.
What should I send with my artwork?
Include the exact wording, preferred orientation and a reference showing how you want the name or logo to appear. Tell us which details matter most if the design needs to fit a smaller mat. Our team can review the layout for the requested size.
How do I order an embroidered boarding step pad?
Open the Step Pad product, select your cover color and an embroidered size, and place the order. Then follow the Step Pad Form link to send the personalization details. The product page shows current options, availability and price.

Use the instructions for the finished product, including its backing and embroidery. Ask our team if you are unsure what you have. Fabric-only cleaning guidance does not automatically apply to an assembled weighted step pad.
