Do the bend options describe the rod holder’s angle?

No. The 0°, 15° and 30° options describe the bend in the grab rail itself. Review the rail profile together with your rod holder’s mounting angle and boarding layout.

Is the grip 52 inches above the gunwale?

The listed 52 inches is the rail’s length. The exposed height and grip position depend on insertion depth and the installed angle.

Can I use it on a center console or sportfishing boat?
