Canvas Designers Inc. Secures the 2024 Fabrication Excellence Award

February 8, 2024 – At the esteemed 2024 Fabrication Excellence Awards, Canvas Designers Inc. was celebrated for its exceptional contributions to marine fabric applications. The award ceremony was a highlight of the Marine Fabricators Conference, which took place from January 25-27, 2024.

Canvas Designers Inc. was distinguished with an Outstanding Achievement award for its innovative "Big Boys Need Covers Too" project, shining in the Travel/Full Covers category of the competition.

This year's Fabrication Excellence Awards saw a competitive field with 104 entries across 11 categories. Entries were judged on a variety of criteria including complexity, design, craftsmanship, uniqueness, and functionality. The judging panel was comprised of certified Master Fabric Craftsman professionals and experts with over a decade of industry experience, chosen for their extensive knowledge in specific product domains.

Every submission was prominently showcased at the Marine Fabricators Conference, ensuring widespread recognition. Participants gained further exposure through features in Marine Fabricator magazine, while winners enjoyed additional publicity on the MFA website and in future marketing materials from MFA.

The awards aim to enhance public awareness of marine fabrics across a broad spectrum of marine products and applications. They celebrate the creativity and skill within the marine fabric industry.

Sponsored by the Marine Fabricators Association (MFA), a division of the Advanced Textiles Association (ATA), the Fabrication Excellence Awards stand as a testament to innovation and excellence in the specialty fabrics and technical textiles industry. ATA, a non-profit trade organization, represents over 1,500 member companies on a global stage, showcasing the best in the specialty fabrics market.
